Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using STWLTH LLC ("STWLTH", "we", "our", "us") at stwlth.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

STWLTH provides financial simulation tools for educational and planning purposes. Our calculators model hypothetical scenarios based on the inputs you provide. All calculations run in your browser — we do not access your financial accounts or institutions.

3. Not Financial Advice

STWLTH is not a financial advisor, broker, planner, or fiduciary. The tools and projections provided are for informational and educational purposes only. They do not constitute financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Always consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions.

Projections assume constant returns, savings rates, and expenses. Actual results will vary based on market conditions, personal circumstances, and factors not modeled by our tools. Past performance does not guarantee future results.

4. Accounts

  • You may create an account to access premium features and save scenarios.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
  • You may not share your account or allow others to access your subscription.
  • One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent limits is prohibited.

5. Subscription Tiers

STWLTH offers three tiers:

  • Free — 4 free tools, 1 saved scenario per tool. No payment required.
  • Premium — All 9 tools, 10 saved scenarios per tool. $7.99/month or $69/year.
  • Ultimate— All 9 tools, unlimited saved scenarios, PDF & CSV export, advanced mode defaults, priority support. $14.99/month or $129/year.

We reserve the right to change pricing, features, or tier structure with reasonable notice. Changes will not affect your current billing period.

6. Billing and Cancellation

  • All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.
  • You can cancel anytime through the Settings page (Stripe Customer Portal).
  • Upon cancellation, you retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period.
  • After your billing period ends, your account reverts to the Free tier. Your saved scenarios are preserved but subject to Free tier limits.

7. Refund Policy

All sales are final. We do not offer refunds for subscription payments, including partial-month or partial-year amounts.

Because you can try 4 free tools before subscribing and cancel at any time with no penalty, we believe this policy is fair. You are never locked into a long-term commitment — cancel before your next renewal and you will not be charged again.

In exceptional circumstances (e.g., accidental duplicate charges, technical errors preventing access), contact us at support@stwlth.com and we will work with you to resolve the issue.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' data.
  • Scrape, reproduce, or redistribute our tools or content without permission.
  • Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the service at scale.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of our tools.
  • Resell or redistribute access to paid features.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and tools on STWLTH are owned by STWLTH LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the service without our written permission.

Your saved scenarios and the inputs you provide remain yours. We claim no ownership over your data.

10. Limitation of Liability

STWLTH is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, STWLTH LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data arising from your use of the service.

We are not liable for any financial losses or decisions made based on projections from our tools. Our simulators are one input among many in your financial planning — not a substitute for professional advice.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless STWLTH LLC, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.

12. Termination

  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, at our sole discretion, with or without notice.
  • You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Account deletion is immediate and permanent — all saved scenarios, subscription data, and personal information will be removed from our systems.
  • Upon termination by either party, your right to use the service ceases immediately. If you have an active paid subscription, no refund will be issued for the remaining period.
  • Sections 3 (Not Financial Advice), 7 (Refund Policy), 10 (Limitation of Liability), and 11 (Indemnification) survive termination.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of STWLTH shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Illinois.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of STWLTH after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you via email or in-app notice.
